Who we are
AAP is a dedicated group of designers and engineering experts set up to create and manage contemporary, sculptural, temporary and permanent art installations. Our reputation as leaders in innovation throughout the process gives our clients the confidence that we can project manage even the most difficult projects. In particular our unique experience working with and manipulating raw materials over more than twenty five years opens up access to techniques and finishes that are only possible to achieve with AAP.
Our team
AAP was launched to facilitate and create art projects not just through innovative materials, but through bringing together the best talent possible. Our Sydney team comprises talented and experienced designers, artists and technicians from the building, interior, spatial and industrial design industries, with a passion for contemporary visual and public art.
What we do
AAP is a unique, full-service offer for the production of artwork. AAP are flexible in their level of involvement and role in any art project which can include; art strategy, artist selection, concept design, design development, engineering, documentation and fabrication.
Our experience
AAP has experience in developing art projects locally, nationally and internationally with artists, developers and local governments. As a consultant, project manager and manufacturer, we are unique in that we are equipped to deal with any material specified, in addition to offering a palette of organic materials that cannot be accessed elsewhere.
AAP has worked on numerous art projects throughout its history commissioning and producing for art events, public art, private collections, architectural and design projects. Working with artists such as JR, Rive Roshan, Warren Langley, Pamela See, Janet Laurence and Colin Lancely and with past and current clients including the NGV, NSW Art Gallery, Victorian County Court, Singapore Airport, the ACT Law Courts, Westfields, the City of Sydney, Brisbane Airport plus numerous corporate and private commissions in Australia and around the world.
We are proud to be associated with Sculptures by the Sea, Bondi, for the third year as a Supporting Partner and AAP has further committed to sponsoring Sculptures by the Sea, Cottesloe, through to 2023.
With newly founded factories in Thailand and Baja California and with design and sales teams based in the UK, Europe, Asia, the GCC and North America, there are now over 100 staff and 22,000sqm of factory floorspace.
We boast an in-house design and production team and have a proven track record in contemporary art projects that make us a clear leader in this field.
