Description: Artwork plays an important role in the new elements of Brisbane airport. The Butterflies is a kinetic artwork display that was designed by HASSELL Associate Louise Pearson. It hangs in the skylights of the new boarding lounge and features almost 100 one metre wide, laser-cut butterflies that have been coloured with brass and bronze patinas.
